What can you do with a cardboard box?

Cardboard Box

Over the last few weeks, we have had different things delivered to our house in cardboard boxes. I had a big box which contained a keyboard, a medium box which contained a coffee machine, a slightly bigger one with a food mixer inside, and then a few small ones with books and headphones in. All the boxes were different shapes, with different things written on the side. I started to wonder - what could be made out of all these different boxes?

I thought that it would be fun to set you all a challenge. Using your imagination, what could you make out of cardboard boxes that you have in your house?

Here are some ideas to get you started. Could you make:

  • a space rocket
  • a play ground
  • a garden
  • a house
  • a robot
  • a marble run
  • an instrument
  • letters to make your name
  • a game

To give you some more ideas, I have added a link to a new song at the bottom of the page.

Happy designing - and don't forget to take some photos of what you make!
