Mid week investigation

When you look out of your window, what colours can you see?

Make a list of all the different colours you can see outside.

What colour is the most common?

Are the colours of man made objects like cars different to the colours of nature?

Do the colours change from morning to night? Why do you think this happens?

Which colours are easier to see in the dark?

Can you draw a picture using your favourite colours?

Skittles Investigation

What you will need:

A plate, preferably white

Skittles (other coated sweets should work as well)

Water

Instructions

Place your skittles in a pattern around the edge of the plate.

Carefully pour the water into the centre of the plate until it touches the skittles.

Watch what happens.

(You can take a photo and post it in the comments)

Extension
