Monday 28th September

Good morning Year 2,

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. Below are the tasks for today 😊 Looking forward to seeing you all very soon. We have missed you all! I personally want to say a well done to you all for all your hard work at home.

Task 1 : Positive thinking. Think about what makes you happy. Complete the worksheet ‘happiness is …’. Write your ideas in a list to create a poem.

Task 2 : Write a short recount of what you have been doing whilst being at home. Think about everything you have been doing. Remember all sentences must have capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. Can you also use time words? Here are some examples : First, next, after that, yesterday, last week, etc.

Task 3 : Can you recall you number bonds to 10 or 20? Create a poster with all the number bonds to 10 or 20. For example : 1 + 9 = 10, 2 + 8 = 10  OR 1 + 19 = 20, 2 + 18 = 20

Task 4 : This week we will be learning about the ‘oo’ family. How many ‘oo’ words can you think of? Write them down. For example: moon. You can also visit www.phonicsplay.co.uk and play Obb and Bob.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact. You can message through the message box on the 'Year 2' page.

Take care,

Mrs Agnew
