Dear Parents,

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be starting guided reading in school and sending out home readers.  Please ensure your child's book is brought into school on a Thursday so that we can change them and resend out the following Monday. Alongside your child's home reading book we will also send  a reading record. Please use the record to let the staff know how your child is reading at home, how they are enjoying the books sent home, what parts of the book they enjoyed and any information about reading you wish to share. The children will receive points towards a reading reward scheme in school each time a book is read at home and their reading record is signed by a parent.
