Brighter Day Tomorrow

Hello Everyone!

Today has seemed a little bit dull, as there have been grey clouds in the sky, and the rain has been a little bit miserable. However, the weather forecast says that tomorrow is going to be sunny and a lot brighter.

We can all think about how we can work together to make a recipe for a brighter day tomorrow. Have a look around for some small pebbles or stones and a tray to put them in. Ask each member of your family to think of one little thing that they could do to help make tomorrow a better day. Maybe your brother could get up in the morning without being asked. Maybe your sister could help you with your reading. Maybe your little brother could pick up all his toys and put them away. Maybe your little sister could draw you a nice picture. What could you do to help your make tomorrow a brighter day? Could you do your Maths work? Could you help with the dishes? Could you pull up some weeds in the garden? When everyone has thought of something, ask them to write it on a piece of paper and stick it on the bottom of one of the stones.

There are lots of things we could all do at to help make tomorrow a brighter day. At the end of the day when everybody has written something on their stone, turn them all over to see what they have all have thought of. Read them all to everyone, and tell them that as a family, you have all made a recipe for a brighter day!

Have fun singing the new song!
