Welcome to Kingfishers

I would like to say a warm welcome to the Kingfishers class and Year 2. We are a class of 29 children.

The class teacher is Mrs Agnew and the teaching assistants are Mrs Bolt and Mrs Khanporia. Mrs Bolt is in class Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs Khanporia is in class every Thursday and Friday.

Our PE lessons are every Wednesday this half term so please ensure that your child has a full, named PE kit in school and that we are not wearing earrings on those days.

Homework is given out on a Friday and it will always be linked to what your child is learning about in class. It will be an English and a Maths task :) This will be uploaded to Seesaw.

Spellings will be given out on a Friday and the children will be tested on them the following Friday. Please help you children to learn their spellings.

We really like reading in Kingfishers so we ask our grown ups to listen to us read and comment in our reading diaries so that we can get our book changed – just a small comment and signature is fine. Books can be changed on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Important dates this half term!

Friday 27th May - Celebrating the Queens Jubilee (Wear red, white and blue)
