Phonics

Recap your sounds using the powerpoint, what word goes with the sound?

Yesterday you thought of words with the ai sound. Using those words put them into a sentence.

English

This week we have been focusing our work around the text The Bog Baby. We have learnt the story with actions, sequenced the story and created our own character. Today I want you to draw a story map to help you with your retelling. I have started this for you.

Maths

Our work this week has focused around number bonds to 10 and addition within 10 using part part whole. Today we will continue with addition using jottings.

 

We have previously visited jottings for numbers and drawing the correct number of dots for the number. We are going to use our dots to find how many altogether. I have made a worksheet with an example to show you.

 

Computing

We have spent a lot of time online this week using different websites to complete our work. It is important when online that we are safe. I have added a story of Smartie the Penguin which explains how to stay safe. There are also some questions for you to help Smartie make the right decision when online.
