When I have been out on my walks, I have seen a lot of daisies growing. It got me wondering how many petals a daisy has. Then I started to wonder whether every daisy has the same number of petals.

 

So I thought that this could be a good investigation for you to do at home. You will need to find a few daisies and count the petals on each one very carefully. Thinks about how you will record your results. You could:

• make a table
• make a tally chart
• draw the daisies and write the numebr of petals
• make a block graph

When you have completed your investigation, let me know your results!
