Wonderful Reading!

In school we use Oxford Reading Tree as our main reading scheme

These are useful links for parents to familiarise themselves with the characters and access some resources.

Each year parents are asked to attend a reading meeting with their class teacher to re-visit the expectations of reading and homework. 

Children are heard to read individually by an adult in class once a week.  In addition to this they will complete a guided reading session once a week.

Parents are asked to read with their child every night for 5 or 10min and record this in the reading diary.

If you are unsure and would like clarification...please ask your child's class teacher.
