Welcome
Welcome to Ribbleton Avenue Infant School!
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
"At Ribbleton Avenue Infant School we offer every child
a happy and caring place to play and learn!"
On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I would like to warmly welcome you to Ribbleton Avenue Infant School’s website.
I am extremely privileged to be Head Teacher and to lead a team that is committed to children's well-being, achieving high standards and providing the very best opportunities for all. Our vision is that all Ribbleton Avenue Infant School children achieve their potential and develop into caring, responsible and hardworking citizens. Learning is fun and children are supported to achieve their very best.
Children lie at the heart of everything we do and every decision within school is made by considering what the best interests of our children are. All schools have their own distinctive ‘feel’ which makes each one unique, and we believe that the special sense at Ribbleton Avenue Infant School comes from our caring, supportive and friendly environment, as well as our strong community cohesion.
Our school is a happy and safe place where pupils are encouraged and supported to achieve their goals. We are an inclusive and diverse school and pride ourselves in raising awareness of equalities and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Our curriculum is broad and balanced, giving children the key skills they need for life, but also a range of opportunities in sport, music, drama and learning beyond the classroom.
Please take time to browse our website and find out more about our lovely school. You will find a wealth of information about what the children are learning as well as statutory information from Ofsted and other informative documents such as school policies and procedures.
Please feel free to contact the school office with any questions or to arrange a visit to come and see our school first hand and meet our friendly children and staff.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school, and to a happy and successful partnership with all our children and families.
Mrs Emma Bishop
(a very proud) Head Teacher
